The auditorium was created when the north wing of the former court building, which presently houses the school, was renovated, and when a new, modern building made of metal, glass and concrete was added. It will, first and foremost, serve as a teaching facility, although it will also double as a cultural and social centre. The lecture hall has a capacity of 340 seats. The basement houses a virtual factory that simulates production processes. It is currently one of the most state-of-the-art production lines used for teaching purposes in the Czech Republic.

The modern architecture and the large congress hall, together with the fact that Jihlava and the entire Vysočina are easy to reach from everywhere in the Czech Republic, make the new auditorium at the College of Polytechnics in Jihlava the ideal venue for holding conferences.
